Full description
Combine an easy countryside ride with a creative afternoon in Bat Trang, the village that has supplied Vietnam with ceramics for centuries. You travel as a passenger on a quiet electric scooter, with professional or female riders, and explore the village with a local guide.
Meet a family in their old house over tea and mung bean cakes, browse the colourful ceramic market and visit the historic Lo Bau kiln. Then sit at the potter’s wheel in a hands-on workshop and shape a piece to take home, before walking the old lanes and enjoying a lunch of freshly made Banh Cuon.
