We did the morning Jeep tour through Hanoi backstreets and Banana Island with Eco Trip Asia. Outstanding service! Our driver was skilled and navigating Hanoi traffic was actually a breeze. The coffee stop at the railway track was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Liam and our driver, who wove us in and out of traffic like an expert. The inclusion of a stop on Banana Island for tea, bananas and a peanut snack let us see a different side of this busy city. Cold, bottled water was welcome on a warm day and lunch was tasty. Liam was personable and informative. 😊

If you only have a short period of time in Hanoi, this is a great fast and furious tour, shows you the land marks, plus a bit of back street culture and the train. It was great fun and the trip to the B52 museum was pretty impressive. I recommend this short but sweet trip and our guide, Bee, was great, excellent English!

Brilliant half day tour in Hanoi! The guide spoke great English, answered every question about Vietnamese lifestyle and culture, and the vintage open-top vehicle made it super fun and breezy in the summer heat.

Full description
Only have one day in Sapa? This full-day Jeep tour shows you both of its faces — the terraced valleys and villages in the morning, the high mountain pass in the afternoon — in one relaxed day with your own open-air army Jeep, driver and English-speaking guide.
The morning begins at a viewpoint over Muong Hoa Valley, followed by an easy walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van and coffee beside a stream. After a local lunch you drive west to Silver Waterfall, climb O Quy Ho Pass with stops at the Lonely Tree and finish on Rong May Glass Bridge, high above the clouds, before returning to town around 16:30.
If you have less time, choose one half: the Muong Hoa Valley Jeep tour or the O Quy Ho Pass Jeep tour.

Frequently asked questions
Is a full day too tiring?
Most of the day is spent in the Jeep with frequent stops; walking is limited to an easy village trail and short walks at viewpoints, so it suits most ages.
What is included for lunch?
A local lunch with regional dishes. Drinks with lunch are paid separately. Let us know about dietary needs when booking.
Is the Jeep private?
Yes. Each Jeep carries 2–6 guests from the same booking with its own driver and English-speaking guide. Larger groups travel in several Jeeps together.
Where does the tour start?
All Sapa tours start and finish at Sapa Stone Church in the town centre. If you stay in central Sapa, add your hotel name when booking and we can pick you up.
What if the weather is bad?
Tours run in light rain and mist, which is part of Sapa's character. If storms, landslides or road closures mean we have to cancel, you can move your tour to another date free of charge or choose a full refund. If the tour goes ahead and you decide not to join, the deposit is not refundable, but you can still change your date.
How much do children pay?
Children aged 5–8 pay 75% of the adult price and children under 5 join for free. From age 9 the adult price applies.
Can I change my date or cancel?
Deposits are non-refundable, but you can move your tour to another date, subject to availability.
Do I have to pay now?
Send a booking request for free. A small deposit secures your spot; the rest is paid on the tour day in cash (USD or VND) or by bank transfer.
