Our tour guide Kylie was incredible and had so much knowledge to share about her beautiful city. It was absolutely pouring down for most of the tour but both Kylie and our driver took great care of us and made sure we were laughing the whole way. 100% recommend!

We did the morning Jeep tour through Hanoi backstreets and Banana Island with Eco Trip Asia. Outstanding service! Our driver was skilled and navigating Hanoi traffic was actually a breeze. The coffee stop at the railway track was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Brilliant half day tour in Hanoi! The guide spoke great English, answered every question about Vietnamese lifestyle and culture, and the vintage open-top vehicle made it super fun and breezy in the summer heat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Liam and our driver, who wove us in and out of traffic like an expert. The inclusion of a stop on Banana Island for tea, bananas and a peanut snack let us see a different side of this busy city. Cold, bottled water was welcome on a warm day and lunch was tasty. Liam was personable and informative. 😊

Full description
O Quy Ho is one of Vietnam’s four great mountain passes, and riding it in an open-air army Jeep is pure drama: hairpin bends, sheer drops and, on good days, a sea of clouds rolling through the valleys below. This half-day Sapa Jeep tour heads west from town into the Hoang Lien Son range with a professional driver and a local guide.
Your first stop is Silver Waterfall, crashing down the forested mountainside. The road then climbs the pass, pausing at the famous Lonely Tree and at viewpoints where you can step out and photograph the Jeep against the peaks. The finale is Rong May Glass Bridge: a glass lift takes you up the cliff and you walk out over the valley on a transparent floor.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Glass Bridge ticket included?
No, it is bought on site and your guide will help you. The Silver Waterfall ticket is included.
I'm afraid of heights — can I still join?

Will I see the sea of clouds?
It depends on the weather. Clouds are most common on cool mornings from autumn to spring, but nature can never be guaranteed.
Is the Jeep private?
Yes. Each Jeep carries 2–6 guests from the same booking with its own driver and English-speaking guide. Larger groups travel in several Jeeps together.
Where does the tour start?
All Sapa tours start and finish at Sapa Stone Church in the town centre. If you stay in central Sapa, add your hotel name when booking and we can pick you up.

If storms, landslides or road closures mean we have to cancel, you can move your tour to another date free of charge or choose a full refund.
