Full description
Feel the mountain wind on the most spectacular road around Sapa — without having to drive. On this half-day tour you sit on the back of a motorbike ridden by a skilled local woman who has known these roads all her life, while an English-speaking guide leads the way.
The route climbs from Sapa to Silver Waterfall and over O Quy Ho Pass, stopping at the Lonely Tree and at viewpoints over layer upon layer of peaks. At Rong May Glass Bridge you walk out above the valley on a transparent floor before riding back down. It is a personal, adventurous way to see the mountains — and to meet the women who live among them.
Prefer four wheels? The same route is available as a Sapa Jeep tour.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a driving licence?
No. You ride as a passenger behind a professional local rider, so no licence or riding experience is needed. Helmets are provided.
Can two people share one motorbike?
For comfort and safety each guest rides with their own rider. Friends and couples ride together as a small convoy.
Is riding on the mountain roads safe?
Our female riders grew up on these roads and ride at a relaxed pace. Helmets are provided and must be worn. Please tell us about any back or neck problems before booking, and contact us first if travelling with young children — the Jeep tours are often a better fit.
Where does the tour start?
All Sapa tours start and finish at Sapa Stone Church in the town centre. If you stay in central Sapa, add your hotel name when booking and we can pick you up.
What if the weather is bad?
Tours run in light rain and mist, which is part of Sapa's character. If storms, landslides or road closures mean we have to cancel, you can move your tour to another date free of charge or choose a full refund. If the tour goes ahead and you decide not to join, the deposit is not refundable, but you can still change your date.
How much do children pay?
Children aged 5–8 pay 75% of the adult price and children under 5 are free. For motorbike tours, please message us before booking with young children so we can advise on the safest option.
Can I change my date or cancel?
Deposits are non-refundable, but you can move your tour to another date, subject to availability.
Do I have to pay now?
Send a booking request for free. A small deposit secures your spot; the rest is paid on the tour day in cash (USD or VND) or by bank transfer.
