We did the morning Jeep tour through Hanoi backstreets and Banana Island with Eco Trip Asia. Outstanding service! Our driver was skilled and navigating Hanoi traffic was actually a breeze. The coffee stop at the railway track was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Fantastic 5.0

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Liam and our driver, who wove us in and out of traffic like an expert. The inclusion of a stop on Banana Island for tea, bananas and a peanut snack let us see a different side of this busy city. Cold, bottled water was welcome on a warm day and lunch was tasty. Liam was personable and informative. 😊

If you only have a short period of time in Hanoi, this is a great fast and furious tour, shows you the land marks, plus a bit of back street culture and the train. It was great fun and the trip to the B52 museum was pretty impressive. I recommend this short but sweet trip and our guide, Bee, was great, excellent English!

Brilliant half day tour in Hanoi! The guide spoke great English, answered every question about Vietnamese lifestyle and culture, and the vintage open-top vehicle made it super fun and breezy in the summer heat.

Full description

Just across the Red River, Hanoi’s countryside feels a world away. On this half-day Jeep tour you cross the river with views of Long Bien Bridge and head out to rice fields, village markets and Co Loa Citadel — the spiral fortress that served as Vietnam’s capital more than two thousand years ago.

Your guide brings the legend of King An Duong Vuong and his magic crossbow to life at the temple, then you slow down at a lotus garden with lotus tea and koi fish. Back by West Lake you enjoy egg coffee, and the tour includes a meal of Bun Cha. It is an easy way to see rural northern Vietnam without a long drive.
