We did the morning Jeep tour through Hanoi backstreets and Banana Island with Eco Trip Asia. Outstanding service! Our driver was skilled and navigating Hanoi traffic was actually a breeze. The coffee stop at the railway track was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Liam and our driver, who wove us in and out of traffic like an expert. The inclusion of a stop on Banana Island for tea, bananas and a peanut snack let us see a different side of this busy city. Cold, bottled water was welcome on a warm day and lunch was tasty. Liam was personable and informative. 😊

If you only have a short period of time in Hanoi, this is a great fast and furious tour, shows you the land marks, plus a bit of back street culture and the train. It was great fun and the trip to the B52 museum was pretty impressive. I recommend this short but sweet trip and our guide, Bee, was great, excellent English!

Full description
Bat Trang has made ceramics for more than five centuries, and this half-day Jeep tour takes you behind the shop fronts to meet the families who still do. You travel from Hanoi in an open-top army Jeep with a local guide, then explore the village on foot.
Share tea and mung bean cakes with residents in a traditional house, browse the ceramic market, and see the old wood-fired Lo Bau kiln before trying the potter’s wheel yourself in a hands-on workshop — your piece is yours to take home. A walk through the old lanes and communal house is followed by a lunch of freshly made Banh Cuon before the drive back to Hanoi.
