01Who we are
This policy explains how Eco Trip Asia collects and uses personal information when you visit ecotripasia.com, send a booking request or contact us. We are responsible for that information (the data controller). Before sending a booking request you confirm that you have read this policy.

03How we use it
- To check availability, confirm and run your tour, arrange pickup and keep you safe on the day.
- To take deposits, send payment links and issue refunds.
- To answer your questions and send booking updates, such as a change of pickup time or a weather alert.
- To meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations in Vietnam.
- To understand how the website is used and measure our advertising, using aggregated data where possible.
We use your information because it is needed to provide the tour you asked for, because the law requires it, or with your consent. We only send marketing messages if you agree, and you can opt out at any time. We never sell your personal information.
05Transfers outside Vietnam
Some of these providers (PayPal, Google, Meta, OpenAI, Web3Forms, Bókun and our hosting and email providers) store or process data on servers outside Vietnam, mainly in the United States and the European Union. We only send them what they need for the purpose described here, they handle it under their own privacy policies and security measures, and we keep a record of these transfers as Vietnamese law requires.

08Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, stop using it for marketing, or withdraw any consent you have given. These rights apply under Vietnam's Law on Personal Data Protection (No. 91/2025/QH15) and its guiding decrees and, for travellers from the EU or UK, under the GDPR.
Email info@ecotripasia.com with your request and your booking reference if you have one. We reply as quickly as we can and within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the personal data protection authority in Vietnam or in your country.
09Security
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Booking records are available only to staff who need them, behind password-protected accounts. No system is completely secure, so please never send card numbers or passport scans by email or chat.
10Children
The website is not aimed at children. Information about children joining a tour, such as their age, is provided by the parent or guardian who makes the booking.
