Full description
Our most complete motorbike day joins Sapa’s photogenic villages and its wild mountain pass into one unforgettable ride. You travel as a passenger behind a skilled local woman rider, with an English-speaking guide and lunch included.
In the morning explore Cat Cat Village, the viewpoints of Moana and the terraces of Muong Hoa Valley, with an easy walk around Lao Chai and Ta Van and a coffee by the stream. After lunch, ride up to Silver Waterfall and across O Quy Ho Pass, stop at the Lonely Tree and walk out on Rong May Glass Bridge before returning to Sapa in the late afternoon light.

- The route may be adjusted for weather, road conditions or the best light
- Each child rides their own motorbike with a rider. Babies too small to sit alone ride with you, on your lap
- A deposit confirms your booking: 15% for bookings under $100, 10% for larger bookings. The balance is paid on the tour day in cash (USD or VND) or by bank transfer.
- Deposits are non-refundable. You can change your tour date, subject to availability.
- A surcharge applies on public holidays (Lunar New Year), payable on site.
Frequently asked questions
Is a full day on a motorbike comfortable?
There are frequent stops, a walk in the valley and a lunch break. If you have back or neck problems, the full-day Jeep tour may suit you better.
Which tickets are not included?
Cat Cat Village, Moana and Rong May Glass Bridge tickets are paid on the day. The Silver Waterfall ticket is included.
Do I need a driving licence?
No. You ride as a passenger behind a professional local rider, so no licence or riding experience is needed. Helmets are provided.
Is riding on the mountain roads safe?
Our female riders grew up on these roads and ride at a relaxed pace. Helmets are provided and must be worn. Please tell us about any back or neck problems before booking, and contact us first if travelling with young children — the Jeep tours are often a better fit.
Where does the tour start?
All Sapa tours start and finish at Sapa Stone Church in the town centre. If you stay in central Sapa, add your hotel name when booking and we can pick you up.
How much do children pay?
Children aged 5–8 pay 75% of the adult price and children under 5 are free. For motorbike tours, please message us before booking with young children so we can advise on the safest option.
Can I change my date or cancel?
Deposits are non-refundable, but you can move your tour to another date, subject to availability.
Do I have to pay now?
Send a booking request for free. A small deposit secures your spot; the rest is paid on the tour day in cash (USD or VND) or by bank transfer.
What happens if it rains?
If we have to cancel your tour because the weather makes it unsafe, you can move it to another date free of charge or choose a full refund. If the tour goes ahead and you decide not to join because of the weather, the deposit is not refundable, but you can still change your date.
